If you’re a big fan of western and cowboy movies, this would look familiar to you. Probably, you’ve known the salesman in a big chariot advertising a formula painted at the side. The man – Ralph Schauss from Wyoming – is the developer of the vitae elixxir or the elixir of life. He’s a businessman in his 80’s.
The secret formula?
Very little is known about the ingredients of the formula. It is a thick herbal concoction of some herbs with St. John’s Worth as one of ingredients. Some say the mixture tastes horrible! The old man has no medical or scientific training whatsoever. He looks tame and nice. He purportedly developed the mixture to cure his own cancer.
No science behind
The elixir of life formula hasn’t undergone any rigorous clinical trials or scientific testing and peer reviewed publication. But like most so-called magic or cure all formula, testimonials flourish over the net by cancer stricken people swearing to its excellent results. (Testimonials can be faked and very easily on the net) Fortunately, these people have the good sense not to forsake their standard therapies but used the concoction as supplement. Anyhow, this made me concerned, in every way it looks like a scam. And it is scary. Despair people with cancer can easily fall into this trap. There are no hard scientific proof.
Side effects
To my amazement, the FDA didn’t ban the product. There are no adverse reactions, they claim. But people drinking the formula experienced diarrhea, gas and pain. St. John’s Worth is known to cause photosensitivity and severe liver toxicity. So it isn’t shocking that people taking the mixture may suffer from liver problems.
Stay with proven therapies
You shouldn’t be enticed by products or herbal remedies that aren’t scientifically proven to work against your cancer. Be aware that the best you can do to survive is to continue with your standard cancer regimen. Ask your health care provider for the right complement therapies. Integrate healthy lifestyle habits as a holistic approach to your cancer management. Eat your share of 5-10 servings of vegetable and fruits every day. Stay away from cigarettes. Be more active. Get on your feet and exercise. These are always the proven means of battling your cancer.

ha ha ha!! I just love your pics.. It goes well with your articles…
you should learn more before you go dissing things that can save peoples lives. My mother had already had a mastectomy of one breast. after all the nasty things like, cutting off body parts, filling her veins with poison, that the doctors concocted for her she had 7 years before metastasized breast cancer showed up in her other breast, her forehead, her spine and maybe her lung. She did continue to do what the doctor said. Though they did not expect great results. She also called up Ralph Schauss, said he sounded like he was selling snake oil, as it sounds to you. But he happily gave a list of people it had helped. She called every one. They were interesting, intelligent and educated people who had been helped. She decided to do it. She took drops internally, soaked her feet and used a poultice on the breast. Her breast eventually began to expand and it turned out to be filling with a liquid that filled again when they took the liquid off. no doctor she she could find had seen this before. She called Ralph and he said it was the body responding to the vitae-elixxer. she finally had her breast removed because it was a nuisance. They found a dead cancer tumor. the spine, the forehead, the lung didn’t grow anymore, at all for years. after several years she quite taking the vitae-elixxer (which i think was very foolish) and after that the cancer did come back in her spine and she died at 86 years old, 14 years later. Her doctor had told her, he didn’t believe in any of the things she did but not to stop because there was no reason for her to still be alive. i have shared it with others who also feel it has saved their life. their doctor said…”what are you doing because what i am doing would not be having the results you are getting.”
yes it is easy to lie on the web but that is no excuse for you to dance around discrediting things you know nothing about. i for one am very grateful for those extra 14 years i got with my mother that i am quite sure i would not have gotten without vitae-elixxer. if i get cancer, you can be sure it is the first thing i will do. if you get cancer, i hope you will try it too.
Cedar Moss,
I’d love to talk further about your mother. My mother too is taking the Vitae Elixxir and would like to compare notes on the breast situation. Please e-mail me at bbdragonfly@yahoo.com.
Sorry Doc,
his concoction saved my life and the person who recommended it to her and his friend life…………………! Of course Ralph and his solution is in direct conflict with western medicine.During 1991 Duke University preformed a biopsy on my friend. They diagnosis was a very aggressive breast cancer. They gave her 6 months to live. It started to invade her lymphatic system. A friend turned her on to Ralph’s solutions & treatment. She ingested and soaked in the solution. Within 6-8wks she when back to Duke. The Drs. were stunned. It’s whole molecular structure though still physically apparent changed its whole molecular structure to calcium. The cancer was eradicated .I developed small follicle b-cell lymphoma and saw my mri of my pelvis and it was full of tumors. I had a bone marrow aspiration of my pelvis bone. It was a rare cancer at the time it was in my marrow . It was apparent in my blood markup not in my lymphatic system.I elected at the behest of my friend to use the elixxir. I soaked my feet for 45 mins each night. The 2nd mri still showed the tumors but the next bone marrow extraction was benign. The marrow was clean and my blood is that of a newborn. As of 2002 I’m cancer free. The stuff works! Within 5 minutes of soaking my feet I could taste the elixxir in my mouth. It permeates the skin/feet into your bone marrow and body etc. It protects good cells and destroys bad cells. Your immune system becomes a mean attack machine! That was 9yrs ago- I was 40 yrs old. Ralph was 79 yrs old. I’m 49 & Ralph is 88. He is still a good soul (even though he’s a staunch conservative republican). From time to time I call him to break his chops. He does have a great sense of humor. He has physically slowed due to his age. His mind is still sharp. His daughter Laurie, has assumed running the business #307-266-5310. Ralph loves to talk his home #307-237-5591. Over the span of 9 yrs. he constantly “railed” me about not using it. Recently I started soaking my feet once again as preventative. The herbal soaks dye will turn the soles of your feet purple. If people are curious, I tell them that I crush grapes to make wine. You know that story on everyone. Good luck. Jim Wilson. I don’t derive any physical benefits by recommending the “magic potion” to anyone, just “good karma” my # email is jimmykoi61@ yahoo.com.
I am so happy to hear more positive things about Vitae Elixir. I was diagnosed recently with mestastic cancer. It was discovered in my lymph nodes under my right arm, but they have not found the origin of the cancer yet. The first doctor I talked to did not give me long to live, even though I feel fine right now. They are currently doing further scans/tests/biopsies to try to find the primary site. Someone I knew told me about his battle with melanoma and how, after 2 years of chemo, it just kept returning. Then he started the Vitae Elixir and quit the chemo. He was soon cancer free and that was 10 years ago now. I am now taking it also and I hope it will save my life as it did his. annettemreed@hotmail.com
When I first heard about Vitae Elixxir, I was overjoyed and thought that this might help my family member with cancer. But the more I looked into the product and the person/company behind it, the more skeptical I became. The warning bells first went off when Laurie Wilson, the daughter of Ralph Schauss, with whom we spoke when we called the number in WY, suggested right off that we buy a four-month supply for USD 1400. We asked for a website to learn more and got the following: http://vitae-elixxir.com/. I was shocked to see that the two bottles of 16 oz each of the foot soaks cost USD 550. Wow! So I started to search for information on the company listed on the Vitae Elixxir website, Organic Research LLC. We called the American Cancer Society (http://www.cancer.org/) to see if they knew anything about this product or the company. The ACS offers a 24 hour/7 day a week free service (1-800-227-2345) to answer any questions about cancer-related issues. We learned that they have some information on their site about the product (http://www.cancer.org/Treatment/TreatmentsandSideEffects/ComplementaryandAlternativeMedicine/HerbsVitaminsandMinerals/vitae-elixxir), but they suggested contacting the Better Business Bureau to learn more. I searched for Organic Research LLC on the Wyoming BBB site (http://wynco.bbb.org/Find-Business-Reviews/name/organic+research/), and it did not find a match in Wyoming. But it did find Organic Research LLC also known as Nutri Blvd LLC in Florida. I am not sure if this is the same company as the one in Wyoming, but as I understand trademark infringement, an internet business should not have the same name as another business in another state. From the LLC company homepage: “If you plan to conduct business in more than one state, you must also search for similar business entities in those states. This is particularly important for Internet-based home businesses, as many states will classify you as doing business in that state if you contact even a single customer.” (http://the-llc-company.com/form-llc/trademark-infringement-business-name/). In any case, there was no mention of anyone named Ralph Schauss on the description of the Nutri Blvd LLC company, which by the way has numerous names (among them Organic Research), an F rating, and 634 complaints filed against it, and is not accredited by the BBB. This company could be the same as the Organic Research I was looking for since its “Business Category” matches: “Health Care Products, Vitamins, Mail-Order and Catalogs Retail, Vitamins and Food Supplements Retail”.
My next step was to see if Ralph Schauss really did live in Casper, Wyoming, so I checked the white pages and found that he does live there: http://www.whitepages.com/name/Ralph-Schauss/Casper-WY/1dfjwg2. I thought it would be interesting to see what kind of house he lived in. Since there are claims that he has sold his products to thousands through at least the past 15 years, I thought he must be “sittin’ pretty”. So I checked out his address from the white pages (102 W G St, Casper, WY 82601-1446) on Google maps: (http://maps.google.com/) and found a very small house one block from the interstate. While all the other houses on the street had cars and other signs of activity this house showed no signs of anyone living there. So, maybe he lives somewhere else – a mansion in the mountains J, and has his phone number redirected? Or maybe he has given away his proceeds to charity? (But then why charge so much?) In summary, I have found nothing to make me less skeptical about this company and its vitae elixxir products, so needless to say we have not bought any of these products.
Dear John Doe,
99.9% of the time I don’t respond to lengthy nonsense spewed from someone whose I.D. is John Doe. You seem to have a obsessive aversion in i.e. Ralph & Co.. Since I personally, and those close to me,have experienced extremely positive results from a product that cured us, I question your motive. If you worry about integrity you should check your senator/rep’s background. How about the people that hold your monetary funds? I did research Ralph’s political affiliation. Of course it is the G.O.P.,(who have raised funds for Ralph & Co.). Gee, I wonder if any of those individuals are “squeaky clean”?.
You worry about $550, while a $100,000 is spent by our standard drug/radiation treatment approved by the F.D.A. “for not”.Chemo poisons! On a final note if you never tried it don’t “KNOCK IT”!!!!!!!
