Soy Smoothie

Don’t skip breakfast, an important moment of your day. Frozen fruits and tofu make this smoothie thick, creamy and nutritious. Whip it up in the morning and pour it into a vacuum bottle. Shake it up and you’ll find yourself be asking for one every week. That smoothie not only contain soy but also fruits and spices that influence cancer.

Serves :2

1 cup (250 mL) fresh or frozen fruit (such as mixed fruit, blueberries, cranberries, peaches, strawberries, raspberry or/and blackberry)
1 cup (250 mL) orange juice
1/2 cup (125 mL) silken or soft tofu
2 tbsp (25 mL) lemon juice
1/2 tbsp cinnamon
1/2 tbsp turcumin
1/4 tbsp black pepper
1/2 tbsp nutmeg
5 whole cloves
1 banana

Preparation:

In blender, blend together fruits, orange juice, tofu, lemon juice, the spices and banana until smooth.
