Cranberry and Apple compote

Nice compote to eat alone or with a yogourt
Serves 6
Ingredients
- 6 Apples (Cortland) peeled, cored, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 cup of dried cranberries
- 1 cinnamon stick
Directions
In a large saucepan, combine a teaspoon of water, the apples and the cranberries . Bring to boil, stirring. Reduce the heat to simmer; add mapple syrup and cinnamon and cook, stirring occasionally, for about 15 minutes.
