Knowledge keeps us out trouble. Experience acquired over the years is helpful too. Sometimes, experience offers us painful lessons of the do’s and don’ts of daily living. Cancer can be a wake -up call about our current lifestyle. Like a boxer, we’ve got to give our best when the bell rings to summon us on stage.

Useful Knowledge

Over the past 15 years, cancer research deciphered a new target to control cancer. The target is called aromatase. It is an enzyme that plays a role in the production of estrogen. When estrogen is present it activates the growth of cancer cells in the breast and prostate glands. This enzyme is found in our fat cells called adipocytes. This goes to say that the more fat cells we got the more our fat cells produce estrogen. When cancer is lurking at the surrounding environment, we have a disaster waiting to happen.

Functional Foods with Aromatase Inhibitor

When the bell rings at the boxing ring, we’ve got to be sure to win the fight. Let’s not be scared. We have some weapons. It had been discovered that functional foods inhibit the aromatase in our fat cells. If it does so, that means it would halt the growth of breast and prostate cancer cells. Eating apples with the peel, grapes and grape seed, mushroom and tomatoes are all functional foods that inhibit the aromatase enzyme. These functional foods are commonly found at our grocery stores.

Power punch

To create an effective punch, we should eat a fistful every day. A fistful is a good measure. It reminds us to fight cancer with just a fistful of functional foods daily.

What we got to do to Make it Work

We all want to win the battle. A best bet is to follow the cancer regimen our doctor prescribed for us. Then by all means we should work out daily to lower those fat cells in our bodies. Now, let’s eat a fistful of those apples, grapes with seeds, mushrooms and tomatoes daily. Surely, it wouldn’t give those cancer cells a chance to grow.
