If you want to win, when you go to war, you should bring your best weapons. When you go to a battle , you pick the torrent and when you fight, you don’t fight fair, you mole the opponent.

Prostate Cancer is one of the most insidious cancer types. The cancer symptoms, most of the time, are only detectable in advanced cancer stage unless you make your yearly check up with a doctor. Cancer patients live in fear of cancer pain caused by the metastatic cancer. Poor dietary habits are responsible for more than one third of cancers, showing the importance of a healthy diet in order to reduce cancer causes as well as its progression.

We must see our bodies as a battlefield where a continuous fight is waged between cancer cells that are trying to develop into autonomous entities and degenerate into cancer and our defense mechanisms that try to preserve the integrity of the organism. Fighting the development of cancer by the best diet entails us to use the anticancer molecules present in functional foods to create a hostile environment for the cancer cells. By daily cancer treatment of the cancer tumors, you prevent their growth just as does cancer treatment like chemotherapy. If your diet contains a high amount of inappropriate foods or lack functional foods, such as fruits and vegetables, the latent cancer cells will be in an environment more favorable to their growth and are more likely to evolve into a cancer. On the other hand, if the diet is rich in protective foods and contains only a weak proportion of cancer-triggering foods, the cancer tumors are not able to grow sufficiently and the risks of developing a cancer is reduced.

Cancer research has shown that eating more fruits and vegetables represents a key factor in reducing cancer statistics. As a matter of fact, these foods contain a large quantity of phytochemical components that play a crucial role in cancer prevention. Besides fruits and vegetables, cancer research works have showed that other foods, less present in our Western alimentation, such as green tea, garlic, soy and turmeric, also contain a large quantity of phytochemical components and antioxidants. A diet that will include these weapons against cancer gives  a better chance to win the battle against prostate cancer.
