Fighting cancer seems tough! Actually, it isn’t as tough as you imagined. It simply requires us to eat as lean as possible so that the excess food won’t convert to fat. A lot of fat in our bodies create an environment favorable to inflammation. Inflammation, as we all know, is the environment that cancer loves so much.
A Simple Diet Plan
So if extra fat or getting there is a concern and cancer is scary, what can we do? A simple diet plan is the solution. We don’t need to be a rocket scientist or a genius to figure this out. I’m aware we know of the noise of diets and losing weight in the net. They pop up more than once in your emails and most times you’re hooked. And most times too they just don’t work.
So, we’ve slashed our food intake by half. But this isn’t really useful if we eat the wrong food type. If we normally eat high energy foods such as white bread, soda or cake our body efficiently obtains calories from these. And really we’ll not get any weight loss. Why? Because by eating less our body adapts and becomes more proficient in extracting energy. Ugh!
Diet Pills are Hazardous
Diet pills aren’t the solution either. Some diet pills are dangerous. The FDA withdrew Meridia manufactured by Abbot laboratories after discovering that it can cause heart failure. And that’s not all the FDA also disapproved 3 new diet drugs for potential health hazards. Now you wonder, what’s the best option?
New Research on Cayenne pepper and Veggies
According to new research the trick is not how much we eat but what we eat that can result into weight loss. The research reveals that certain foods fill us up and at the same time helps we control the calories we consume.
They aren’t as pricey and complex. A new study published in the Journal of Physiology and Behavior concluded that cayenne pepper and veggies control food cravings, make you eat less and burn those calories. Hmmm…
Here’s an important scoop they also discovered. If we take cayenne pepper as a supplement it wouldn’t work. So maybe there’s a secret process why cayenne should be eaten as to spice our meal to cause weight loss and curb hunger pangs.
Cayenne is super spicy!
How to eat this?
Start slowly. Take a little dash of cayenne at a time. Until we can manage a flaming dish of cayenne!
As for our veggies, eating them fills us up fast. We consume fewer calories with a large volume of veggies as compared to consuming a chock-full of calories with a diet of pure steak. What’s more, we will get all the necessary phytochemicals: weapons to fight cancer and we reduce our portion of steak with vegetables.
If you aren’t used to eating veggies start with pureed broccoli, cauliflower, celery, squash instead of potatoes. When eating potatoes keep the peel otherwise those potatoes are nothing but sugar chains.
Think about the effect of adding veggies in our daily meal. They slash our calories intake by as much as 200 to 350 daily. It adds up at the end of the week and that’s something we’d really want. Then, watch ourself lose that extra baggage of fat.
