You can have it on a beautiful moonlit night or any time you prefer. But you’re scared. The newspapers and the net have warned you that grilled burned meat turns into a carcinogenic nightmare. If you’re a big fan of western and cowboy movies, this would look familiar to you. Probably, you’ve known the salesman in a big chariot advertising a formula painted at the side. The man – Ralph Schauss from Wyoming – is the developer of the vitae elixxir or the elixir of life. He’s a businessman in his 80’s.

The secret formula?

Very little is known about the ingredients of the formula. It is a thick herbal concoction of some herbs with St. John’s Worth as one of ingredients. Some say the mixture tastes horrible! The old man has no medical or scientific training whatsoever. He looks tame and nice. He purportedly developed the mixture to cure his own cancer.

Funny, while enjoying myself on Facebook I stumbled upon The Daily Mail list of “Things that Give you Cancer.” Some things on the list are age, air travel, allergies, artificial flavors, baby food, bath water, being a woman, being a man, being skinny, being southern, breastfeeding, broken hearts, bubble bath, calcium, cereal, coffee, dogs, Facebook (huh!), internet, lipstick, modern living, money, older fathers, perfume, rice, soup, shaving, war in Iraq, working and the list ended on x-rays. Reading the list made me shake my head in disbelief and amusement that I burst out laughing!
These things seem satiric but can surely scare people. Where are the scientific bases of these listed things? If you take it seriously, you’ll end up suffering life instead of having fun. more…
