The name of this blog “Cancer Battle field” originated from the idea in which I see cancer as a daily battle which is fought within our body.  The battleground is our body and the combatants are our cells and organs.   Our body is engaged in fighting cancer where our weapons in this warfare are what we provide to our body by our consumption and activities.

I’m not here to tell you to avoid junk food and exercise daily; that is just common sense. If you smoke, you increase your chance to get a cancer by 30%. That is not the purpose of this blog. My goal is to share with you what I have discovered by my research. For my job, I need to read a lot of information, papers and results of studies about new ways to fight cancer. The general public knows that garlic, Green Tea and other food can help to fight cancer. But now those foods have been analyzed at the molecular level and their interaction with cancer are well known in scientific ways.

The purpose of my Blog is to share with you some critical information about what we call functional food. I think it is important that as a scientist I share with you my discoveries and what information I have about this terrible enemy named cancer.

Here in my blog I want to write about the simple things that we see every day: the food at our grocery store and ideally on our plate. I believe that the information you will find in this blog is vital where it can be seen as a simple cure for cancer: eating the right food to win the battle.
